"Go your way....and be not grieved and depressed for the joy of the Lord is your strength."  Nehemiah 8:10

There have been times when I, like most humans, thought that others had better lives; easier lives; the grass was greener on the other side. 

But here is the truth that I have come to live my every day existence by:  You are right where God wants you to be. 

I also know that God has a purpose for each of us.  We all have a talent...some more obvious than others.  Sometimes we are here to be a support for someone else that has a more obvious talent.  You have heard the saying, "Behind every great man is a great woman."  Well, I figure that for every GREAT person out there is a team of others with talents that have helped that person be so GREAT.  I do not have a problem with being a prop or a guide line.

And maybe my life wasn't supposed to be a wild adventure.  Maybe I was not made to live a life of luxury.  Of course, that would require a definition of the word 'luxury'.  And MAYBE my life could have been 'easier' but...I needed to go through what I've been through to be HERE now...to be ME now. 

We each have a purpose, a job, a place to be.  And as long as I am doing as God wants me to...as long as I am following HIS direction and not my own...I will embrace MY life and not want someone else's.
